Kenya’s Jesca Chelangat is a consistent top three finisher at 10k and the half-marathon and has twice won at the shorter distance in China and South Africa but her best times at both distances have come in Valencia, Spain. The 26-year-old looks ahead to the 2025 Ras Al Khaimah Half Marathon.
Starting her career in 2023, Judy Kemboi excelled the following year moving up to the half marathon distance and taking the Gent race on her debut with a fine 66:35. Kemboi then also won her next three half marathons before she was runner-up in the competitive Copenhagen race where she clocked her personal best of 65:43. The Kenyan could be the one to spring a surprise when she lines up for the 2025 RAK Half Marathon on Saturday (February 1).
